It is one of the few wineries to have proven that Spain's sparkling wines can achieve excellence. The winery dates back to 1924. Recaredo (www.recaredo.com/en)  is unique. Its sparkling wines are all Brut Nature (the driest style) and aged with natural cork stoppers. Each bottle is manually disgorged and given that bottlenecks are not frozen, the disgorgement process is worth watching!
 
The wines are based on Xarel.lo and, to a lesser extent, Macabeu & Parellada. This Terrers 2018 carries some barrel-fermented Xarel.lo (just a mere 3% is added to the final blend). The wine has been disgorged on the 6th of October 2022, after 42 months aging in the bottle.
