NATCOOL is a collective project, where several producers come together to create wines, olive oils, teas, kombuchas and other products — pure, authentic, sophisticated. It's a way of being: simple, mask-free, made to be shared. The wines are known for their cool and funky personality, with a straightforward and uncomplicated profile and low alcohol content. 
 
In the case of ruby port Niepoort have strived to put together a fresh port in the Ruby style, blending wines from different vintages resulting in an average age of 3 years old.The grapes for this wine are mostly from Vale de Mendiz, in the heart of Cima Corgo. Winemaking was done the old-fashioned way. The grapes were trampled on foot and fermented in mills and aging in cold cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia in large vats of old wood.
