Bodegas Terra D’Art is a family-owned organic winery in the picturesque Valle de Ahillas, Valencia, founded by husband and wife, Juan José Martínez Gordo and Amparo Palmero Ricarte.  Their son, Juan José Martínez Palmero, is the head winemaker.  Starting in 2003 in their small garage at home, they produced just 200 bottles of white wine, made from the local Merseguera grape variety, using the cold store in the family delicatessen to cool the wines. Their philosophy is to grow grapes of low yields and make wine using sustainable, organic and biodynamic practices. 
 
MUT Salvaje is a limited edition of only 400 bottles. Made in a claret style, a blend of indigenous white (Merseguera, Chelva, Tardana) and red (Royal, Bobal, Monastrell, Garnacha) varieties, the wine is aged in a small clay vessel for 1.5 years.
