Bodegas Milénico is an organic, artisan, and family-run small winery. All is farmed under sustainable organic practices and winemaking as their ethos is based in noninterventionism. 
 
The Mediterranico vineyards are located between 800 to 900 meters altitude with soils being a very heterogeneous mixture of the limestone dragged from the moorlands, the typical clay of the valley and the sand from the erosion of the slope. They are poor soils which naturally allow for scarce but concentrated productions of expressive and long-lived wines. The vine developed its roots with no irrigation, forcing them to go deep for humidity.
 
This Mediterránico is a fresher take of a Ribera del Duero as it's been made partially in amphora and  in stainless steel to preserve the purity and concentration of its varietal fruit without loosing the vibrancy of its freshness. It's not a glou-glou wine, but it is a perfect pour to enjoy during spring/summer.
