Jesús and Julián are two cousins based in Quintanar de la Orden (Toledo). Besides getting along really well, they complement each other perfectly. Jesús, the fifth generation of farmers, is the man behind the wine whilst Julián is the no-nonsense guy crunching the numbers. The name of their project makes perfect sense. They started out in a garage with just a very basic equipment. At present, they make around 10,000 bottles of indigenous varietals.
 
Cencibel (local name for Tempranillo) is a limited edition wine (around 1000 bottles only) comes from a single plot in the area of La Venta, province of Toledo, where the sandy loam soils are predominant. The grapes were fully destemmed and the wine was fermented and aged without any use of oak in inert vessels. A true expression of the variety of the area, a complex and rich wine with very soft tannins, ripe cherries and dry petals nuances.
