Terras do Sur is a family-owned winery deeply rooted in the winemaking heritage of Southern Galicia. Founded in the 1990s by winegrower José Antonio Canda Gil, the winery was built on generations of dedication to preserving the traditional, artisanal viticulture of the Condado do Tea region. Its philosophy combines respect for local heritage with a forward-looking vision, crafting wines that reflect the authenticity and character of their origin.

Crafted exclusively from Brancellao, Galicia's most planted variety in pre-phylloxera times. Grown in A Cañiza, where Brancellao remains exceptionally rare, it reflects Terras do Sur's dedication to preserving Galicia's viticultural heritage through thoughtful, contemporary winemaking.

Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel, the wine highlights the purity of the fruit and the distinct character of its origin. Light on its feet rather than powerful, it offers vibrant freshness, delicate herbal notes, and an unmistakable Atlantic influence. Elegant and expressive in its youth, it also has the structure and balance to develop beautifully with time.
