Undoubtedly, the fortified wines made from Moscatel grapes in Chiclana are the ones that have given this city in the Bay of Cádiz the most fame. Moscatel Los Cuartillos is a different understanding of what a Moscatel Chiclanero has to be. It doesn’t undertake "asoleo" and it’s
harvested quite early to avoid overripeness. Fermentation is stopped before it is finished by fermenting it up to a 15% ABV, so a residual level of sugar remains. Delicate and subtle, with a floral perfume and a saline character. 225 g/L sugar.
