Sebestyén is a small winery founded in 1998 in the Szekszárd region, south of Hungary. It might be a young winery, but the aspirations of Csilla (former sommelier at Gleneagles' 2 Michelin star Andre Fairlie) and her brother Csaba, soon took them to craft some truly unique wines, loaded with a somehow Burgundian feel.
Bikavér (formerly known as Bull's Blood) is a classic blend coming from their best vineyards in Iván Valley. Kékfrankos dominates this blend, resulting in a wine that is elegant and concentrated. It's aged 22 months in old oak.
A wine that exudes purity, elegance, finesse, and honesty.
