This 100% Pinotage is made from grapes of 2 vineyards, 90% of which comes from dryland bush vines planted in 1973 in Paardeberg region on granite soils, harvested in two pickings to provide different characteristics of grapes. Fermented in open vats with 15% whole bunch; matured in 300L and 500L old oak barrels for 10 months. 
Beautiful juicy profile, healthy red fruits, plums and red cherries, roasting herbs, slight earthy notes.
