This inspiring project was implemented by Iker García. The artisanal winery is the first and the only one in the whole Labraza (Rioja Alavesa). Located at an altitude of 650 metres above sea level is also blessed by an Atlantic microclimate benefitting from the Föhn effect and a wide range of biodiversity. Therefore his vineyards are following natural winemaking principles.
 
Hontza Zuria is an approachable style of orange wine as it’s been just fermented on the skins for 5 days. The local white Viura and the minoritary Calagreño are de-stemmed and co-fermented. It’s left to age shortly in stainless steel. Zesty yet with a great concentration of fruit, subtle tannins, and incredible vitality. Decantation is advisory.
