Liguria is often overlooked on the italian wine scene. It is greatly compensated with its incredibly picturesque riviera and amazing seafood but, nonetheless, some lesser known autochthonous grape varieties definitely deserve special attention. Pigato and Rossese are the protagonists of this set.

The winery, Terre Bianche, has over 140 years history, and grows only rossese, pigato and vermentino. Pigato, harvested prematurely and aged on lees, has some charming herbal notes in a stone fruits bouquet; Rossese, medium bodied with savoury and floral hues, is made from thouroughly selected grapes that are completely destemmed before maceration.
