The winery Domaine des Marnes Blanches is located in Sainte-Agnes, a small town in Jura region, and is owned by the young winemaking couple, Géraud and Pauline Fromont, both native of Jura. They set up the business in 2006 and today with only 12 hectares of vineyards certified for organic farming, they emphasise minimum intervention both in the vineyard and in the winery.
 
Chardonnay les Molates Ouillé comes from 35-year-old vines planted on white marl soils. Aged in foudres with no bâtonnage, it was bottled in July the following year. This is a wonderful Chardonnay expressing the terroir of Jura with layers of zesty and floral nuances.
