Celler Burgos Porta is a family winery run by Salvador & Conxita, located in the small valley of Poboleda, at the heart of Priorat. All their vineyards are worked organically. Mas Sinén is the name of the cellar which is surrounded by the old vines planted in the 1950s.
Priorat’s best secret is its particular soil called Llicorella (a local type of slate), the oldest that can be found in Catalonia. Thanks to Llicorella’s minerality the wines are complex, opulent, concentrated, elegant, yet fresh. Priorat itself has the biggest reputation within Spanish fine wines.
Mas Sinen La Vall is a blend of Grenache, Cariñena, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Aged for 6 months in French and American oak. Vines between 15-20 years old planted in the local Llicorella soil. Production of 5300 bottles. Silky, warm, spiced, and elegant with a pure concentration of forest fruits. No invasive oak
