No range of sought-after volcanic wines is complete without Borja Perez and his ambitious project in the north-western part of Tenerife (Canary Islands). 


In 2007 Borja left behind his career as car rally mechanic to take the reigns of his family winery, getting rid of their oenologist and starting to elaborate the wine himself with a clear vision: crafting fine and top notch wines that could place Tenerife winemaking in the map.


This set includes his two top CRU of very limited production (less than 2250 bottles):


The white Marmajuelo ferments and ages in 500 l oak vats. Golden in color but it isn't a skin contact wine, just the natural taint of this terpenic varietal. Textured and very serious, just bursting with minerality. It shows a great potential for ageing. Only less than 1500 bottles are produced per year.


Baboso Negro (also known as Alfrocheiro in Portugal) is coming from a magical plot from where he produces only 2250 bottles! Fermentation takes place in concrete prior transferring it to age for 14 months in a 15 hl foudre. Rustic elegance, powerful but fresh. A serious contender for your cellar.
