Pedreira is a single plot of 80-year-old pergola-trained vines of Albariño above the village of Meano made up of thin granitic soil surrounded by a wall. It’s southwest-facing. It’s 30 meters above sea level and just over half a mile from the shore. In 2018 the addition of two further plots from the same village and terroir were added, hence the dropping of Finca from the estate name. The must was fermented in small stainless steel and 30% old oak, 600L barrels. After fermentation, all the wine is aged in used oak barrels for 11 months. It doesn’t undergo MLF.

Manuel Moldes is the winemaker at Bodegas Fulcro, located in Vilalonga (Sanxenxo), in the Salnés Valley sub-region. Manuel's winery is attached to his home, where his family has been making their homemade Albariño for their own consumption. In 2009 he decided to give free rein to his great passion and hobby (as he was an economist) and take charge of the winery with the intention of professionalizing it.

Currently, it is still a small winery, producing only 20,000 bottles in total. Chicho seeks to ensure that the wine retains the freshness of the variety and that is why its wines do not undertake malolactic. He likes his wines to be very mineral which is why he always looks for the best plots in the area, over granite and schist soils (a very worn type of red slate). In the winery, intervention is minimal, trying to respect the identity of the wine as much as possible.
